In Memory of Cookie

From Cookie's Family:
Cookie came into our life 6 years ago when she showed up in front of our gate.

Our street is very busy so we took her in where she immediately made herself at home. After putting up signs and checking shelters for someone who might be missing her we realized we had acquired another member of the family.

We have three other dogs who were puzzled by her presence at first but quickly realized that she was here on a permanent basis.

We quickly realized that Cookie moved to her own music. She was high energy and was always by our side showing us the love and devotion she had for my husband and I.

As time passed we came to realize that Cookie had some serious health issues such as epilepsy and issues with her hind legs.

Since our dogs are our children, Jimmy and I were and are committed to giving our dogs all the love and care possible.

On Sunday, December 4th, we realized that Cookie's condition was causing her to suffer. We know we made the right decision but the void she left is still evident.

It is the little things we do such as only preparing 3 dishes of food instead of 4 that cause us sadness.

Cookie's sole purpose in life was to love us.
